IV iron injection containing Ferric Carboxymaltose for treating iron-deficiency anemia.
Feboxy 500mg contains Ferric Carboxymaltose, an intravenous iron preparation used to rapidly replenish iron stores in patients with iron-deficiency anemia when oral iron therapy is insufficient or not tolerated. Each vial provides 500mg of elemental iron in a 10ml solution.
Purpose
To treat iron-deficiency anemia, especially when oral iron is ineffective or not tolerated.

Warnings
For intravenous use only; must be administered by a healthcare professional.|Do not use in patients with iron overload conditions such as hemochromatosis.|Serious hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis, may occur; resuscitation facilities must be available.|Not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Side Effects
Nausea, headache, or dizziness may occur after infusion.|Transient hypotension or flushing during or after injection.|Injection site reactions such as pain, redness, or discoloration.|Rarely, severe allergic reactions including anaphylaxis.
