Ophth Lubric Eye Drop (10ml)
A sterile ophthalmic demulcent and lubricating eye drop indicated for the relief of dry eye symptoms, corneal hydration, and ocular surface protection.
Ophth Lubric Eye Drop (10ml) contains Polyethylene Glycol 400, Propylene Glycol, and Sodium Hyaluronate, an advanced, multi-dose ophthalmic demulcent and viscoelastic polymer lubricant formulation engineered by Ophthpharma for the management of dry eye syndrome. It works at the ocular surface by forming a protective, hydrophilic tear-mimicking matrix that binds to the corneal epithelium, stabilizing the pre-corneal tear film, reducing surface friction, and locking in intensive moisture to rapidly relieve burning, grittiness, and environmental irritation.
Purpose
Deploys polymer lubricants and hyaluronate to reinforce the natural tear film matrix, provide long-lasting surface moisture, and shield dry corneal tissues.
Ingredients
Polyethylene Glycol 400 0.4%, Propylene Glycol 0.3%, Sodium Hyaluronate (Standard Multi-Polymer Lubricant Matrix)
Warnings
Instill strictly 1 to 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) as needed throughout the day, or as structured by your ophthalmologist. Completely remove contact lenses prior to instillation; wait a minimum of 15 minutes before reinserting to prevent the preservative from altering lens clarity. To entirely preserve sterile integrity, never allow the bottle dropper tip to touch the eyelashes, eyelids, fingers, or any external surface interfaces. Discard the entire remaining liquid contents of the bottle within 28 consecutive days after first breaking the sterile container seal.
Side Effects
A brief, self-limiting blurriness or filmy sensation across the visual field immediately post-instillation while the polymer matrix spreads. Minor, transient stinging, localized watering, or a brief cooling sensation across the conjunctiva immediately upon droplet contact. Rare, low-grade accumulation of a mild, harmless crusty polymer residue along the eyelash line or eyelid margins post-evaporation. Potential for minor localized ocular hypersensitivity, such as transient conjunctival redness, in individuals highly sensitive to specific preservatives.
Storage Instructions
Store safely below 25°C in a cool, dry place, ensuring the bottle is kept upright, tightly capped, and completely protected from freezing.
