Timezol 40mg (1 Injection / Pack) contains Omeprazole Sodium, a highly effective proton pump inhibitor (PPI) formulated as a sterile, lyophilized powder for intravenous infusion to manage severe acid-peptic disorders. It acts by entering the secretory canaliculi of gastric parietal cells and binding irreversibly to the $H^+/K^+$ ATPase enzyme system, delivering immediate, complete suppression of basal and stimulated gastric acid production.

Purpose

Binds irreversibly to the gastric parietal cell proton pump to instantly halt hydrochloric acid manufacturing and stabilize internal pH.

Ingredients

Omeprazole (as Sodium) 40mg

Warnings

Dissolve the lyophilized powder payload strictly with the provided sterile solvent and administer slowly over a 20-30 minute intravenous infusion window. Total daily systemic paracetamol, NSAID, or antiplatelet intake should be closely reviewed to manage concurrent upper gastrointestinal mucosal risks. Chronic or repeated prolonged usage can lead to significant systemic malabsorption of vital magnesium, calcium, and cyanocobalamin. Exclude underlying gastric malignancies prior to therapy initiation, as the dramatic relief of symptoms can completely mask warning signs.

Side Effects

Transient localized pain, chemical phlebitis, or localized redness at the site of the active intravenous infusion line. Low-grade frontal headache, minor morning lightheadedness, or brief, self-limiting physical fatigue. Gastrointestinal shifts including mild diarrhea, temporary flatulence, low-grade nausea, or brief constipation. Rare systemic hypersensitivity reactions including skin pruritus, anaphylactic bronchospasms, or localized hives.

Storage Instructions

Store between 15°C and 30°C; do not freeze the reconstituted fluid, and use the solution immediately after preparation.
