Advantan Milk 0.1% Lotion (60ml)
Advantan Milk 0.1% Lotion is a highly active topical corticosteroid lotion formulated for application on wide or hairy areas of inflamed skin.
Methylprednisolone aceponate penetrates the epidermal barrier to bind with high affinity to intracellular glucocorticoid receptors, inducing the transcription of anti-inflammatory proteins like lipocortin-1 while repressing pro-inflammatory cytokines, adhesion molecules, and chemokines. This localized molecular pathway suppresses modern T-cell proliferation, decreases microvascular permeability, and directly inhibits the release of histamine from cutaneous mast cells.
Purpose
It is indicated for the topical treatment of acute endogenous eczema, atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, contact eczema, degenerative eczema, and solar dermatitis (severe sunburn).
Ingredients
Methylprednisolone Aceponate

Side Effects
- You may experience a mild, transient burning sensation, localized stinging, or minor itching at the site of topical application.\n- Widespread or prolonged use can lead to localized skin thinning (atrophy), the appearance of fine blood vessels (telangiectasia), or striae.\n- Rare instances of localized follicular inflammation (folliculitis) or allergic skin hypersensitivity reactions have been documented.
