Alkeris Sr 200mg Tab 30s contain theophylline 200mg sustained-release for asthma and COPD (bronchodilator). Take as directed; do not crush or chew. Dose is individualised; monitor levels if high dose.
Purpose
Treatment of asthma and reversible airway obstruction (e.g. COPD) when prescribed.
Ingredients
Theophylline 200mg (sustained-release) per tablet.
Warnings
Prescription only. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. Avoid caffeine in large amounts. Report palpitations or nausea. Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding without advice.

Nausea, headache, palpitations, insomnia. Toxicity with overdose (seizures, arrhythmias). Report palpitations, nausea, or convulsions.
