Levocetirizine 5mg tablets for allergies and urticaria.
Asthiven (5mg) contains levocetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine used for allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria. It is the active enantiomer of cetirizine. The 5mg strength is for once-daily dosing. Take with or without food.
Purpose
Symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Ingredients
Levocetirizine 5mg (as dihydrochloride) per tablet.
Warnings
Caution in renal impairment; reduce dose if indicated. May cause drowsiness; avoid driving until effect is known. Not for use in pregnancy without medical advice.
Side Effects
Headache, dry mouth, fatigue, somnolence. Rare: allergic reactions. Report severe drowsiness or rash.
