Purpose
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory and skin infections when liquid formulation is appropriate.
Ingredients
Azithromycin 200mg per 5ml (or equivalent); 15ml pack.
Warnings
Contraindicated in macrolide hypersensitivity. Caution in hepatic impairment. Complete full course.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, headache. Rare: hepatotoxicity, QT prolongation. Report severe diarrhoea or jaundice.
