Warnings

Do not abruptly discontinue taking this medication as it can trigger severe rebound hypertension, arrhythmias, or myocardial infarction. Use with extreme caution in patients with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or a history of bronchospasm. Monitor heart rate and blood pressure regularly; do not take if your pulse falls below 50 to 60 beats per minute. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, as this medication can mask the signs of acute hypoglycemia like tachycardia.
