Dapxi 5mg (10 Tablet / Pack)
Dapxi 5mg is an oral sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor indicated to optimize glycemic control and reduce cardiorenal complications in adults.
Dapagliflozin selectively inhibits sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) in the proximal renal tubules, reducing renal glucose reabsorption and lowering the renal threshold for glucose. This biochemical blockade promotes insulin-independent glucosuria, directly removing excess glucose from the bloodstream while concurrently inducing mild osmotic diuresis and secondary caloric loss.
Purpose
It is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in type 2 diabetes mellitus, and to lower the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization in heart failure or chronic kidney disease.
Ingredients
Dapagliflozin
