Dyrohil contains Dydrogesterone, a highly selective, orally active synthetic progestogen that mimics endogenous progesterone. It targets and binds specific progesterone receptors in the endometrium, converting an estrogen-primed uterine lining into a complete secretory phase. Unlike other synthetic options, it possesses no relevant androgenic, anabolic, estrogenic, or corticoid activity, making it highly effective at treating corporate progesterone deficiencies and supporting early pregnancy without inducing virilization or suppressing normal ovulation at therapeutic doses.

Purpose

Indicated for the treatment of documented progesterone deficiencies including endometriosis, secondary amenorrhea, irregular cycles, premenstrual syndrome, threatened or habitual abortion, and luteal support in assisted reproductive technologies.

Warnings

Strictly contraindicated in individuals with undiagnosed or unexplained vaginal bleeding, severe hepatic dysfunction, or known or suspected progestogen-dependent malignancies (such as meningioma). Prior to initiation, complete a thorough clinical examination to rule out estrogen-dependent or breast malignancies. Use with caution in patients with a history of thromboembolic disorders, severe depression, or porphyria. Regularly monitor liver enzymes and perform diagnostic breast screenings during long-term therapy.

Side Effects

Common: Localized headache, migraine, nausea, menstrual alterations (including breakthrough bleeding or spotting), breast tenderness, or dizziness. Rare: Hemolytic anemia, severe cutaneous angioedema hypersensitivity, chloasma, or transient hepatic impairment.
