Effiflox 500mg Tab
Levofloxacin 500mg tablets for bacterial infections.
Effiflox 500mg contains levofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for bacterial infections including respiratory, urinary, and skin infections. The 500mg strength is for once-daily dosing. Take as directed; complete the full course.
Purpose
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory, urinary, and skin infections when prescribed.
Ingredients
Levofloxacin 500mg (as hemihydrate or equivalent) per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in quinolone hypersensitivity and history of tendon disorders. Caution in epilepsy and renal impairment. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding. May cause photosensitivity.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, insomnia. Rare: tendonitis, tendon rupture, peripheral neuropathy. Discontinue and seek help for tendon pain or numbness.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from light and moisture.
