Esnovex 40mg (14 Capsule / Pack) contains Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate, a highly effective, enteric-coated proton pump inhibitor (PPI) designed for maximum suppression of gastric acid. By selectively blocking the final pathway of hydrogen ion transport within the gastric lumen, it provides deep, long-lasting relief from symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux, active duodenal ulcers, and gastritis.

Purpose

Suppresses hydrochloric acid manufacturing by inhibiting gastric parietal cell proton pumps to balance internal gastric pH.

Ingredients

Esomeprazole (as Magnesium Trihydrate) 40mg

Warnings

Swallow the capsules entirely whole; never chew, crush, or break the protective enteric-coated pellet structures. Long-term continuous use spanning multiple years can trigger severe, progressive hypomagnesemia and calcium malabsorption. Concomitant administration with clopidogrel should be avoided, as esomeprazole can significantly lower the antiplatelet efficacy. Exclude gastric malignancy diagnostics prior to initiating therapy, as the drug can completely mask warning symptoms of underlying disease.

Side Effects

Low-grade frontal headache, mild morning dizziness, or generalized physical fatigue. Gastrointestinal changes including low-grade diarrhea, nausea, flatulence, or constipation. Slight dryness of the mouth, temporary throat irritation, or a mild metallic aftertaste. Rare, localized skin hypersensitivity reactions such as low-grade pruritus or minor flaking.
