Flagyl 90ml Syrup is an oral prescription antimicrobial suspension formulated to eliminate anaerobic bacterial and protozoal infections. The active compound works by penetrating the cell walls of susceptible microorganisms to disrupt their structural DNA helical chains. It is widely prescribed to treat systemic amoebiasis, giardiasis, dental infections, and specific gastrointestinal microbial overgrowths.
Purpose
Used to treat intestinal amoebiasis, giardiasis, and anaerobic bacterial infections.

Metronidazole Benzoate 200mg/5ml
Warnings
Shake the suspension thoroughly before measuring each therapeutic dose. Complete the full prescribed course to prevent microbial recurrence or resistance. Absolutely avoid concurrent alcohol consumption during and 48 hours after therapy. Use with caution if the patient has a known history of active CNS disorders.
