Fluzip 120mg (20 Tablet / Pack) contains Fexofenadine Hydrochloride, a highly potent, long-acting second-generation histamine $H_1$-receptor antagonist engineered for the symptomatic relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria. Operating entirely in the periphery, it blocks histamine binding to alleviate sneezing, pruritus, watery eyes, and rhinorrhea without crossing the blood-brain barrier.

Purpose

Selectively antagonizes peripheral histamine $H_1$-receptors to eliminate allergy symptoms without central sedation.

Warnings

Consume consistently with water; completely avoid taking the tablet with fruit juices (grapefruit, orange, or apple) as they block uptake. Do not administer concurrently with aluminum or magnesium-containing antacids, as they severely lower fexofenadine bioavailability. Use with close clinical caution in elderly populations or individuals presenting with documented moderate-to-severe renal impairment. Although non-sedating, verify individual response before engaging in tasks requiring sharp mental reflexes or driving.

Side Effects

Low-grade frontal headache, minor drowsiness, or brief daytime fatigue. Minor dryness of the oral mucosa, temporary throat tickle, or nasal dryness. Low-grade morning dizziness or mild, self-limiting nausea post-ingestion. Rare localized skin hypersensitivity reactions such as minor itching or faint hives.
