Gabix 100mg (30 Capsule / Pack)
A voltage-gated calcium channel modulator capsule used for nerve pain and epilepsy control.
Gabix 100mg Capsules contain Gabapentin, an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain modulator. It binds selectively to the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system, reducing the influx of calcium into hyperexcited neurons and suppressing the release of excitatory neurotransmitters to safely normalize signaling in damaged nerve pathways.
Purpose
Used for the treatment of peripheral neuropathic pain, such as painful diabetic neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia, and as adjunctive therapy in partial seizures.
Ingredients
Gabapentin 100mg
Warnings
Do not discontinue therapy abruptly; reduce the dosage gradually over at least one week to minimize the risk of withdrawal seizures or status epilepticus.
May cause marked somnolence and dizziness; avoid driving, climbing, or operating heavy machinery until your individual tolerance is well established.
Antacids containing aluminum or magnesium should be taken at least two hours apart from Gabapentin to prevent reduction in its bioavailability.
Monitor patients closely for emotional changes, worsening depression, or the development of suicidal thoughts or behavior.
