A selective P2X3 receptor antagonist that targets and reduces the hypersensitivity of cough-reflex pathways in the airways.

Purpose

Used in adults for the treatment of refractory chronic cough or unexplained chronic cough.

Use with caution if you have a known allergy to sulfonamides. Avoid use if you have severe obstructive sleep apnea. May cause dizziness, which can impair driving or operating machinery.
