Glovar 40mg (14 Tablet / Pack)
An enteric-coated oral proton pump inhibitor (PPI) indicated for severe acid reflux and ulcer healing.
Glovar 40mg Tablets contain Pantoprazole Sodium, an advanced, enteric-coated proton pump inhibitor (PPI) engineered for the comprehensive suppression of gastric acid. By binding irreversibly to the hydrogen-potassium ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, it effectively heals erosive esophagitis, active peptic ulcers, and conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Purpose
Inhibits the gastric parietal cell proton pump to drastically lower stomach acid production and balance internal pH.
Ingredients
Pantoprazole Sodium 40mg
Warnings
Swallow the tablets completely whole; never chew, crush, or split the protective enteric coating before ingestion. Chronic, continuous use extending beyond multiple years can precipitate severe systemic hypomagnesemia and B12 deficiency. High daily therapeutic dosages are clinically associated with an increased long-term risk of bone fractures. Rule out underlying gastric malignancies prior to therapy, as pantoprazole can completely mask critical warning symptoms.
Side Effects
Low-grade frontal headache, mild morning dizziness, or generalized fatigue. Gastrointestinal changes including mild diarrhea, flatulence, nausea, or constipation. Slight dryness of the oral mucosa or a brief alteration in daily taste sensation. Rare localized skin hypersensitivity reactions such as minor itching or low-grade rashes.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry room, keeping the tablets protected within their original blister packaging.
