Hair Maxx Blue Shampoo (200ml) is a specialized medicated hair care preparation formulated to treat moderate-to-severe dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. It works by combining potent antifungal agents like zinc pyrithione to inhibit the proliferation of Malassezia fungi, which break down scalp lipids and cause cellular irritation. This targeted clearing action reduces epidermal hyperproliferation, normalizes cell shedding, and relieves the persistent itching, flaking, and inflammation associated with a dry or oily scalp.

Purpose

To eliminate stubborn scalp dandruff, reduce seborrheic scaling, and soothe localized scalp itching and redness.

Ingredients

Zinc Pyrithione 1% w/v, Biotin

Warnings

For external topical scalp application only; avoid letting the shampoo foam enter the eyes or ears during washing. Wet hair thoroughly, massage a generous amount into the scalp to form a rich lather, and leave for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing. Use two to three times weekly for active treatment, then reduce frequency to maintain a healthy, flake-free scalp environment. Discontinue use if you experience severe scalp irritation, worsening inflammation, or an unexpected increase in hair shedding.

Side Effects

Localized scalp dryness, mild transient irritation, or a slight stinging sensation during application. Changes in hair texture or minor color variations, particularly in chemically treated or tinted hair types. Reversible oily or dry scalp shifts as the sebaceous glands adjust to the anti-seborrheic formula. Mild contact dermatitis if sensitive to specific surfactant bases or secondary preservative ingredients.
