Oteelo 6.25mg (30 Tablet / Pack)
A dual-action oral alpha/beta-blocker indicated for high blood pressure, heart failure, and post-heart attack cardiac protection.
Oteelo 6.25mg (30 Tablet / Pack) contains Carvedilol, a non-selective beta-blocker and alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist engineered for the treatment of essential hypertension, chronic heart failure, and left ventricular dysfunction following myocardial infarction. It functions by concurrently blocking cardiac beta-1 receptors to lower heart rate and myocardial workload, while blocking vascular alpha-1 receptors to induce smooth muscle vasodilation, comprehensively reducing systemic blood pressure.
Purpose
Blocks peripheral alpha-1 and cardiac beta-receptors to reduce heart rate, lower vascular resistance, and decrease cardiac workload.
Ingredients
Carvedilol 6.25mg
Warnings
Do not abruptly discontinue therapy; dosage must be gradually tapered over 1 to 2 weeks under a physician's oversight to avoid severe rebound ischemia or arrhythmias. Completely contraindicated in patients presenting with a clinical history of asthma, severe bronchospasm, or advanced heart block. Monitor blood pressure and resting heart rate metrics routinely; hold the dose and contact your doctor if the heart rate drops below 55 beats per minute. Can obscure the classic clinical indicators of acute hypoglycemia (such as tachycardia or tremors) in individuals managing diabetes.
Side Effects
Marked orthostatic dizziness, lightheadedness, or localized headache post-ingestion. Daytime drowsiness, generalized asthenia, or a significant decrease in baseline physical stamina. Bradycardia (slow heart rate) or transient postural hypotension upon standing up quickly. Mild gastrointestinal changes including self-limiting diarrhea, low-grade nausea, or dry eyes.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry environment, keeping the tablets protected within their original blister packaging.
