Rysem 14mg (10 Tablet / Pack)
Rysem is an oral glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist used to improve glycemic control and reduce cardiovascular risks in adults with type 2 diabetes.
Semaglutide acts as a selective GLP-1 receptor agonist that binds to and activates the GLP-1 receptor, stimulating glucose-dependent insulin secretion and reducing glucagon secretion. It concurrently delays gastric emptying to slow postprandial glucose absorption and acts centrally on the hypothalamus to decrease appetite and enhance satiety.
Purpose
It is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, and to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events in patients with established cardiovascular disease.
