Tonoflex P Forte (10 Tablet / Pack) is a fixed-dose combination oral analgesic tablet formulated for the management of moderate-to-severe acute or chronic pain states. It works through a synergistic dual-action pathway: tramadol acts as a centrally acting opioid agonist by binding to mu-opioid receptors and inhibiting the neuronal reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, while paracetamol acts via central cyclooxygenase inhibition to reduce pain perception. This combined mechanism delivers rapid and enhanced analgesic relief at lower comparative individual doses of each compound.

To manage moderate-to-severe acute or chronic painful conditions that require an effective combination opioid-non-opioid therapy.

Warnings

Risk of opioid dependency, misuse, and respiratory depression; do not exceed the maximum prescribed daily dosage under any circumstances. Do not consume alcohol or concurrent central nervous system depressants during therapy due to the increased risk of profound sedation. Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment or acute intoxication from alcohol, hypnotics, or centrally acting psychotropic agents. Exercise caution in individuals with a history of seizures or epilepsy as tramadol can significantly lower the systemic seizure threshold.

Side Effects

Central nervous system effects including dizziness, somnolence, drowsiness, fatigue, or persistent headaches. Gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, flatulence, or severe chronic constipation. Dermatological reactions including increased sweating, localized pruritus, hot flashes, or generalized skin rashes. Orthostatic hypotension or transient tachycardia, particularly during the initial hours following oral ingestion.
