Purpose

Side Effects

Pronounced somnolence, postural lightheadedness, ataxia, gait unsteadiness, vertigo, or severe physical fatigue. Anticholinergic-like symptoms including persistent dry mouth, blurred vision, or moderate-to-severe constipation. Systemic fluid shifts leading to notable peripheral edema in lower limbs, facial puffiness, or rapid weight gain. Cognitive changes including temporary confusion, short-term memory impairment, or a feeling of general mental slowing.
