Valmera 2.5mg (30 Tablet / Pack)
A low-dose oral voltage-gated calcium channel modulator tablet containing 2.5mg of mirogabalin for initiating neuropathic pain therapy.
Valmera 2.5mg (30 Tablet / Pack) is a low-dose oral neuropathic pain stabilizer containing mirogabalin, designed for initial therapy or fine-tuned dosage titration. It works by selectively binding to the alpha-2-delta-1 calcium channel subunits within the spinal cord and brain, mildly decreasing the presynaptic entry of calcium ions. This subtle modification gently reduces the hypersensitive discharge of excitatory neurotransmitters, allowing for a gradual introduction of the molecule to minimize initial central nervous system side effects.
Purpose
To initiate titration or manage mild forms of peripheral neuropathic pain, diabetic nerve discomfort, and postherpetic neuralgia.
Ingredients
Mirogabalin 2.5mg
Warnings
Adhere strictly to the designated titration schedule; increasing the dose too rapidly can exacerbate initial dizziness and drowsiness. Perform baseline renal function assessments prior to therapy initiation to ensure the safety of the selected starting dose. Use with caution in patients with a history of substance abuse, as gabapentinoids can carry risks of misuse or habit formation. Advise the patient to report any sudden visual disturbances, such as double vision or loss of visual acuity, immediately.
Side Effects
Mild drowsiness, transient daytime somnolence, minor dizziness, or a feeling of lightheadedness during early titration. Limited gastrointestinal events including mild nausea, brief stomach upset, dry mouth, or minor constipation. Minor peripheral fluid retention resulting in subtle puffiness around the ankles or feet in sensitive individuals. Neurological variations such as a mild tension headache, transient vivid dreams, or slight physical lethargy.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry place, protect from direct light and heat, and keep out of the reach of children.
