Yogil 10mg Tablets are a highly effective gastric antisecretory medication belonging to the proton pump inhibitor class, indicated for the rapid healing of active duodenal and benign gastric ulcers. It works by blocking the final step of gastric acid secretion, significantly elevating the pH of the stomach to relieve symptoms of acid reflux and heart burning.

Purpose

Warnings

Prolonged use for more than three consecutive years can lead to a significant malabsorption of cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12). Patients experiencing unexplained weight loss, persistent vomiting, or dysphoria should be thoroughly evaluated for gastric ulcers before starting. Exercise extreme caution if administered to individuals with severe, end-stage hepatic or renal impairment. Do not crush, chew, or split the enteric-coated tablets; they must be swallowed completely whole with water.

Nausea, vomiting, or mild upper abdominal discomfort. Diarrhea, flatulence, or temporary constipation. Dryness of the mouth or occasional sore throat. Mild headaches or temporary sleep disturbances.
